When the last visitors have left the zoo and tranquility descends on the enclosures, an ex-otic welcoming cocktail sets the tone for your culinary adventure. Then a zoologist takes you round the African enclosures to the antelopes, elephants, zebras and lions, which are just being fed at this time.
At the ensuing safari dinner in the imperial pavilion, with blazing torches, gentle back-ground music and South African wines, you will be served delicacies such as slices of South African springbok, corn chicken breast with banana chips and coriander and cardamom juice.
