Mass with the Vienna Boys Choir 2010

Season 2010: A Mass with the Vienna Boys Choir will be held every Sunday at the Hofmusikkapelle, Hofburg Palace, Schweizerhof, at 09:15am, from Sunday 3rd of January, and continues right through June 27th, every Sunday. July and August will remain closed. The fall&winter season starts with September 19th, until December 25th & 26th, 2010, as well as on January 2nd, 2011. The Mass lasts approximately an hour.

Tickets for the regular Mass with the choir are available at the following prices: EUR 45,25 each including booking fees. The Vienna Boys Choir stands behind the organ, but it will appear after the Mass in front of the audience, so everyone will be able to view them when performing a few extra chorals. We usually do not offer cheaper seats, as their quality has lead to complaints from our valued clients in the past. Anyway, we do have some, at EUR 35,25 and 26,50 each - as below - incl. fees. Please also note that the Mass on Dec. 25th and 26th, as well as on Jan. 2nd 2011 will have higher booking fees. (100% on top of face value of seats)

at EUR 45,25 incl. fees offer good view to the altar
at EUR 35,25 incl. fees at the "Hausoratorium" offer a view (partly over a mirror) to part of the choir and musicians, no sight to the altar
at EUR 26,50 incl. fees in the so called "Untere Empore" - very limited/no view

If you wish to attend the performance of the Spanish Riding School afterwards, it is easy to walk from one site to the other, as they are just five minutes walking distance apart.



Concerts with the Vienna Boys Choir 2010

Gala concerts with the Vienna Boys Choir, the Vienna ChamberOrchestra and the Chorus Viennensis are held on Friday afternoon, 4:00PM, at the Brahms Hall at the Musikverein (Boesendorferstrasse 12, A-1010 center of Vienna) on following dates in the year 2010. The concert lasts approximately an hour and 15 minutes.
  • April 30th
  • May 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th
  • June 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th
  • September 10th, 17th, 24th
  • October 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 2010

Tickets are available in four categories:

  • Category A: EUR 87,- (front Parterre section)
  • Category B: EUR 79,- (Parterre and also balcony)
  • Category C: EUR 69,- (Balcony&Parterre back)
  • Category D: EUR 54,- (Balcony and side)
    ( all including fees )

The concert lasts approximately an hour and 15 minutes.
