REBECCA follows We Will Rock You

This mystical story will take the stage as a musical for the first time in the RAIMUND THEATRE under the direction of the world-renowned opera and music theatre director Francesca Zambello, who recently caused a sensation in Austria with her staging of WEST SIDE STORY at the Bregenz Festival.

In this scene we bring excerpts from the charming and witty Operetta “Im Weissen Rössl“, the classic Edelweis from the “Sound of Music“ and our dancers finishing this part with a spirited “Landler“.

The musical highlight of our show featuring Austria’s most celebrated operetta composers, Johann Strauss, Franz Lehar and Robert Stolz includes songs from the “The Gypsy Baron“, “Wiener Blut“ and “The Merry Widow“.
