Fête Impériale: Summer Ball at the Spanish Riding School
Dkfm. Elisabeth Guertler, who managed the Vienna Opera Ball for years, invites for Friday, 29 June 2012 to the 2nd Ball for the Lipizzaner horses at the most beautiful summer ball-location in Vienna.
The Fête Impériale is a modern interpretation of earlier traditions, a splendid setting for an extraordinary summer ball-night !
The most beautiful riding hall in the world is not only an architectural masterpiece, but with a length of 58 meters and a width of 17 meters, enough space for the performances of the world famous Spanish Riding School.
The ball will be held on Friday, 29 June 2012, for the third time only. (the first Fête Imperial Summer Ball was held on 10 July 2011)
Grand Ballroom: Maria Theresia has already, in mid-18th century, celebrated lavish parties - so-called women's Roundabouts - in the Riding School. The vision of the organizers is to this tradition for a night back to life and open to all Viennese and visitors from home and abroad, the Riding School for an unforgettable evening.

Prices start at 100,-€ (Promenade ticket) and range from 420 - to 630,-€ for a table (depending on locality). Lodges and private room are from 2,400,- Euro. (All plus pre-booking fees and VAT)
The net proceeds of the Fête Impériale will exclusively benefit those scientific works which are necessary to the preservation and breeding of the oldest horses bred in the world and thus to guarantee the continuation of the Spanish Riding School.
